Mr. A.Vijaya Bhaskar is the Managing Director, and Mr. A.Venkatesh is the Director, also the promoters of Alma (Indian Gooseberry) wine in the name and style of M/s. VIJAYA DURGA WINERIES PVT Ltd. Vijaya Bhaskar and Venkatesh are brothers, hail from a family of agriculturists native of Chittoor District, Madanapally Village, Andhra Pradesh, India. Mr. A.Vijaya Bhaskar has graduated of Diploma in Automobile Engineering and Mr. A.Venkatesh has graduated of Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Mr. A.Vijaya Bhaskar has worked with various companies related to Automobiles and Agricultural Equipments from 1998 to 2001.Mr. A.Venkatesh has worked with various companies related to Civil and National Road works as an Executive Engineer.There after Mr. Venkatesh and Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar have floated a civil construction business in Hyderabad. The primary business of this firm is building and development of real estate with successful completion of prestigious residential apartments and colonies.

While being in Real Estate business, their penchant towards Agriculture drove them to procure the land of acres 150 at Vayalpadu Village in Chittoor district and developed a gooseberry farm on the entire land along with a cow dairy farm, comprising of nearly 100 milking cows. The gooseberries grown in this farm are organic in nature. The cow dung and cow urine is used as compost in the farm to nourish the gooseberries plants. They also purchased land admeasuring Acres 60 in Nalgonda district and developed a gooseberry farm there also. The net yield of gooseberry fruits form both the farms is more than 700 tonnes per annum.

Taking up from there from 2009, with the help of several senior scientists the brothers started researching in Amla in IICT, Hyderabad. After their tremendous hard work, rigorous research, experiments and dedication for about two years, they successfully came out with Amla wine without using any synthetic material or rectified spirit. The Amla wine has been tested for qualitative and edibility tests by reputed laboratories of IICT, Department of Bio Chemical technology and National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. All the above said Labs, after due examination and procedures, certified Amla wine in a positive aspect.

Encouraged with the successful outcome, They applied for Letter of Intent to the Department of Excise, Government of Andhra Pradesh, for setting up a Winery. The said LOI was sanctioned by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar also applied for Patenting the Product and was successful in his efforts in obtaining Patent for Amla Wine and the procedures.Mr. Venkatesh and Vijaya Bhaskar constructed a building for the purpose of manufacturing unit for Amla wine Unit at Sy.No.591, Kondamadugu village, Bibinagar Mandal, Nalgonda Dist.
